We are finally getting settled into our house, starting to feel quite homie here. There was some sort of ball up with the lending and title paperwork or such so it took 10 days of hotel hopping and getting our hopes dashed before we finally were given keys Wednesday afternoon. Pretty crazy to have a 30yr loan attached to our names now but exciting just the same and it has been fun to unpack and decorate the new pad.

We are still going on mini missions exploring the area, I can't get enough of this place; the hiking and outdoor activities, the little restaurants and shops and especially the farmers markets. My accounta-bili- buddy Jill is on break from her 4x circuit and spending time here in Seattle so its been like the good ole days having her back to train with. We enter a whole new little world when we ride together and I had forgotten how much she pushes me to be a better rider so its just another bonus to being in the Northwest now, plus she is showing me all the secret spots in the city so I can acclimatize faster ;)

In random news I saw JLilly in the mix at Southpark this weekend on BMXmania. Way to go Lill! Looks like she has abandoned the idea of a Girls Vet pro class and gone straight into the mix again. I'm betting its just a matter of time before we see "Supermom" Birk back on the track.

Road trip next weekend to Roseville then straight to home-sweet-home Utah for some Rad Canyon pull.
