Rolled in to Chula yesterday, this place has become my home away from home and while I hate leaving Mike the training is good for me here. The Boy has to go back to Tennessee for 4 months to do some more blackhawk training so it gives me a chance to be here full time during the SX season and keep myself busy from missing him.
Ritz did a rebuild of the first jump and touched up the mens second straight, they were soiltec-ing the first one this morning so I didnt get a chance to ride it but its pretty darn big. 39 ft with a good lip, so it should work well for both the girls and boys. Below is a pic from the side, it barely fit the screen on my phone.

I had a full week off after worlds to recoup and gear up for the SX season so Mike and I decided to do a little backpacking for my birthday up at Mt Rainier. The trail turned out to be A LOT tougher than we anticipated and it took us 5.5hrs to make it to our campground where we were accosted by mosquitoes and drained an entire can of OFF! before retreating into the tent. It was all worth it though the next morning when we woke up and hiked around the summit of Indian Henry's. It was some of the most beautiful countryside I have seen in my life, A great reminder of God's creation. Another 4 hours of hiking back to the car and 13 hours of sleep to recover the following night reminded me what a blowout hiking can be, but so glad we did it.
