October is my favorite month, hands down. The weather starts cooling off, leaves are changing (unless your in southern Cal where everything is already dead) and snow is coming! I absolutely CANNOT wait for the snow season to hit so I can put some solid time in on my board. The last two years ive been out of snow territory which is a terrible waste of winter when its still cold. I'm buying Mike and I ski passes this week to Crystal and we have a big ski trip back home to Utah planned for Christmas holidays.

Finally time to go public with the announcement that I won't be with GT for next year. Bit of a bummer since I was psyched on the program, but the big guys up top are pulling some money out of the BMX budget and I was the fallout. Special thanks to Big Daddy and Spencer for taking care of me this year, and Mikey and Joey for being rad teammates. With that said, i'm definitely out looking for a new bike sponsor so if your reading this and interested send me a personal message here on go211.
Getting ready to wrap up the final SX race of the year in France. We leave early Monday morning for the French Riviera and one of my favorite races of the year. I'm a big fan of South France; the track there has good flow, delicious crepes, and beautiful scenery on the Mediterranean. BMX doesn't get much better than that does it? Life here at the OTC has been good the last few weeks, back into full board BMX training and its nice to have a little track time in leading into this next race. I got my hands on a bone stimulator to speed up the healing process, its a pretty nifty little device that sends ultrasonic waves into my bone to stimulate the laydown of fresh bone cells over the fracture site. I feel lucky to work with such an awesome sports med staff that reaches out to every possible resource for me when I am injured.

Also having as much fun as possible in my last days here in San Diego (I leave as soon as we get back from France). We had a full board Pro-Am Kayak race in the k2's today with my roomates, got pretty wet but my boat won the finale thanks to Mags who did lots of extra work to keep us afloat. So much more to elaborate on that and I have video i'll have to post later but I gotta catch some zzzz's, have a big day of packing and laundry ahead of me tomorrow.
