I live in New York City, about an hour train ride from 100+ miles of coast line. I moved to NYC after 4 years at UVM and picked up surfing, go figure. I've been snowboarding for 13 years or so, and I attempt to skateboard from time to time. Still debating what is better, a powder day or perfect glassy shoulder to head high waves with no crowds...
