Last night (May 23rd) was the Swatch TTR Champions Tribute in Times Square. In the past the TTR holds their general assembly and tribute in Europe. But for the first time, the TTR committee decided to change locations, fly over the Atlantic and come to New York City.

After the day-long assembly, it was time to party.
And what better place to host a party than The Swatch store in Times Square. DJ Freddy Kalbermatten played great music and set the mood for the night.

Grenade Soldier,Dingo, hosted the event and announced the 2008 TTR World Champions (Kevin Pearce and Jamie Anderson). Both Pearce and Anderson, GO211 Team Riders, said a few words on stage and continued to enjoy their evening in the spotlight.

Signing autographs, taking pictures, BSing with people they never met before, seems like it comes with the territory of being the TTR World Champ.Besides winning/earning $50,000
both snowboarders got to pick out a new Swatch Watch.The Open Bar-Finger Foods- and the energy flowing into the party from Times Square was unreal. It was awesome and the TTR should definitely decide to host their Champions Tribute in New York again.
