Thursday June 12th, Kevin Robinson and the crew from the Red Bull Experiment set up shop in New York City. And by shop, I mean a huge 60 foot down ramp and a 27 foot high Super Quarter Pipe. The purpose of the experiment? Break Matt Hoffman's world record for highest air. Which is 26.5 feet.

A huge crowd of fans, BMX riders, Skateboarders, the media, and a bunch of people who were curious to see what the heck this HUGE ramp was doing in the middle of Central Park showed up to watch K-Rob make history.
Robinson needed a crane to get to the top of the ramp. And a lot of guts to ride down it.

There it is. Kevin Robinson breaking Matt Hoffman's world record for highest air.
THE NEW RECORD 27 FEET !!!!!!!!

Red Bull always hires a friendly staff. Congrats to Kevin Robinson. Thanks to the Red Bull Scientists for all their hard work.
