I'm Rich Montalvo, been into BMX since I was 12 years old so that makes it about 18 years. Man I'm getting old. I raced up until I was 28 and than retired after a pretty bad crash which ruptured my spleen. Now I just ride for fun.

In 2000 I launched the very first full BMX video website (bmxvideo.net) I travelled the country covering NBL and ABA races and posting those videos on my website. At first I did it for fun but it quickly became so popular that I dropped out of college and worked on the website full time. The site grew and was a payper view gig up until 2005. I then worked for ISTV who came into BMX and tried to make literally millions of dollars by keeping it a pay site, that lasted about 8 months and they dissapeared. Now, 2008 I work for GO211 as the BMX Producer and get to travel all over the place and cover BMX, Skate, Surf, and maybe some Snowboarding (I don't like the cold). GO211 ROCKS!
