Florida just didn't have the waves for the Jr Pro Women event this year. Sage Erickson and I made it to the finals. Even though the waves were small I had a good time. A local photographer, Lorraine Guthrie, took some nice shots during the event. I posted what she sent me. Thank you Lorraine. Christa Alves took the win and I followed with 2nd. Cory A killed it in the final of the Jr Pro Mens taking the win this year. We couldn't get a flight out the final day of the event so we took advantage of the fact that the Space Shuttle Endeavour was taking off at 2:28 am just before our departing flight at 6:00 am the following morning. We got up at 1:45 am and headed down the road with all the other Space Shuttle groupies to watch the take off. It was pretty exciting and cool!
