Santa Ana winds and heat in the upper 90's. Summer is here! The NSSA event was canceled this past weekend due to the Shark attack in San Diego. Our prays and thoughts go out to the victim's family and friends. We still have 1 more NSSA event before our Southwest Open season is over plus the Western Regional before Nationals. The USA Surf Team is getting ready to head over to France the end of May and everyone on the team has been working hard along with our new coach Joey Burran. We're all amped. The Van's Pier Classic ended well for me this year with a 1st in the final. Conditions for the final were fair with windy HB swell. The event was fun and we appreciate Van's and Jack Surfshop for supporting women's surfing in North America. Thank you for giving us a WQS to compete in.
