Surfing, family, fun, football, and friends filled my weekend.  WSA Prime held their third contest in the series at Oceanside South Jetty Saturday.  The waves were contestable but not the greatest conditions.  After the contest we headed further south to El Centro for my brother's last football games of the season.  He had an incredible experience this year participating in the Pop Warner Costa Mesa Eagles football team.  This season they were the league champions and received an invitation to the Sun Bowl in San Diego.  They won the game 38-8!!  We stayed in San Diego to wake up Sunday to surf conditions that were fair to good.  We decided to explore Pt Loma the first part of the day and pay respect to Pearl Harbor Day (December 7) and recognized the efforts of our military men that protect our country each and everyday.  Afterward we surf Oceanside pier with the background of one of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen.  On our way home we stopped by our friends home for dinner and laughs.
