Today is the finals. The comp doesnt start until around noon so John and I rode around the city to check out some stuff. We saw some pretty cool little markets and shops. We also stumbled upon a casino. so by 10am we both lost about $150 before deciding that is was time to quit. it was definatly fun ride. So the contest, finals were 2 60 second runs with a 10 minute jam. The course was pretty basic so the typical tricks went down, tailwhips, tailwhips, and then even more tailwhips. It was a treat to gary young ride as he did find some pretty cool lines in the course. He ended up in first with geoff slattery in second. There is a cool clip of gary in my videos. Jared washindton and brad simms had good tricks but a few falls kept them out of finishing up top. There was also a flatland final that day too. Justin Miller ended up winning that. check my vidoes for a lnk of tricks from his run. After the comp John and I did our demos on the vert ramp. definaltly alot of fun and the crowd was super into the demos. Inline is still popular in Asia so ther were 8 inliners in the demos. John and I finished with a doubles run and called it a day at the event. later that nite the whole crew, bmxers, skaters all ventured int eh city for some dinner and after dinner good times. as we all had early flights we stayed up all night and hoped to sleep on the plane. korea was definatly a good time and I hope to go back again sometime. This weekend coming up sends me to the ASA event in OHio. Should be another fun filled weeked.
