So this weekend I went to the US open of surf to the nike event. Normally I would be going to compete in the Soul bowl but this yet they made it a park event so I judged the. The course was awesome and the riders had plenty of time to get used top it and find some good lines. The first 3 days were a prelim type of contest. The 20 riders earned points and cash to make it to Sundays final. One cool thing was that 5 of the riders earned and invite off of an interent poll, pretty cool way of doing it. 5 more were invited by the original 10 pros invited. In addition to the bmx comp there was a skate bowl competion too. There was a big swell for the surf contest so the crowds in surf city were stoked o that. Stay tunned for the competion days.
