I was out in LA for the the xgames and went to see Rick Thornes band, Good guys in Black. They Palyed with Mike V's band as well. It was in Veince so it was about a 15 minute cab ride from our hotel. In additon to the bands playing there was a video premire of some type put on be Element. We missed the video and got there just in time to see the bands play. Rick Thorne was taking a break from the warped to to do some X-games hosting and to play they show. Even tought they had not played all summer they were still pretty tight. After good guys, Mike Valleys band took the stage. they were pretty good too. After that , being on eastcoast tiem I was ready to head back. We hailed a cab and it was an interesting ride. fter th e meter broke at 19dollars with 2minutes left in the ride the cabbie decides to try to charge us $45. I gave hin 24 and told he was luck to get that and to walk away without a blck eye. Cabbies that try to pull
a fast one on me end up on the short end of the stick!!!
