Posted at 12:00:00 PM

 AST OFFICIAL RULES:

The AST Dew Tour consists of six competitions in BMX, Freestyle Motocross, and Skateboard. Athletes who qualify into each event have the opportunity to compete and earn points at each stop. At the end of the season athletes will be ranked according to total points earned and the athlete in each discipline with the highest number of points will be crowned the champion and will be awarded the Dew Cup.

Qualification criteria have been developed through which athletes qualify into the AST Dew Tour. For events 1 & 2, athletes will qualify three ways:
- Holding the top number of spots in the previous year end standings
- Wild Card invitations
- Open Qualifier

For events 3, 4, & 5, athletes will qualify based on current AST Dew Tour Rankings.

An Open Qualifier will be held per discipline at the first two stops of the AST Dew Tour to provide athletes the opportunity to compete in the Preliminary Round of competition. The Open Qualifier will be held prior to Preliminary Round of competition.

If an athlete makes it past Open Qualifiers, they will be eligible to compete in the Preliminary rounds of the AST Dew Tour in hopes of qualifying for the Finals.
