The bowl at the Woodwward skatepark in Golden, CO is being removed to build a "Skate Plaza" of little wedge ramps. This bowl will be missed by me alot. It was a great place to warm up for riding vert and to escape the crowds on a busy winter night at the Denver area's only indoor park.
The bowl was a good place for kids to work on their vert skills before committing to the big ramp. The management claims it was not used enough to justify the space it takes up. I will miss the flow and all the good sessions I had in it.
