A few weeks ago I wrote about how the Woodward Skatepark in Golden, CO was removing a wooden bowl which was one of my favorite things to ride at the park. I was bummed but I thought that maybe they would replace it with something fun to ride. Change can be good. The replacement turns out to be a buch of little street ramps. An improvement? I don't think so. I am no hater of street skating but it seems to me that the space could have been used in a better way. Check the before and after photos below. They wasted alot of good plywood on the walls that could have been used for some nice trannies. I'm not pleased.
