An early morning peek at Praia da Vila revealed rather lackluster conditons this morning, but with the swell expected to build over the day, Round 1 of the Hang Loose Pro has been put on hold until 10:30am.
When the event does get underway, 18 of the 48 surfers competing in the Hang Loose Pro will hail from Brazil.
