As light faded Kelly Slater and the last heat for the day entered the water. Slater took the victory with the highest heat total for the day of 18.07.
Heats 1-9 of the Hang Loose Santa Catarina Pro were held in three to five foot surf today with title contenders Mick Fanning and Kelly Slater stealing the show!
Heat 10 will have Taj Burrow taking on Luke Stedman and wildcard Marco Polo, so logon at 7am local time for competition status!
