Mick Fanning defeated Luke Stedman in Round 4 then dispatched Joel Parkinson in Quarter Final 4 then wrapped up the 2007 Fosters ASP World Title when Taj Burrow lost out to Tom Whitaker.

As if handing over the reigns, out going 8X World Champion Kelly Slater congratulates Mick Fanning on his maiden World Title. May there be more to follow.
