Elephant Orphanage - AFRICA
They are the cutest, sweetest, and most chill friends I've ever met. Their mothers hAD been killed right in front of them, poached. They were rescued from a lonely death and now live in an Orphanage where their car-takers are with them at all times... feeding them, rubbing them with coconut oil, spending the night in the woods with them, and trying to introduce them back with wild elephants herds. Their human Parents were describing how similar elephant minds are to our own, with memories that will last with them forever . Like if you were to hurt them when they were little, they would remember you 15 years later, and be afraid. They morn deaths of those in their tribe, and are very sensitive to positive and negative energy. I was very lucky to meet them, and they got to know my scent when i blew into their nose. So maybe they'll remember me next time! |
