I miss surfing with ripping girl surfers. Not doing the tour anymore means I spend too much time at home, surfing by myself or with a bunch of boys. It just isn't the same. So when my friend Julie Cox called to let me know she would be doing a demo day for her signature line of surfboards called The Jules Collection shaped by Jed Noll, I RSVPd immediately.

As silly as it sounds, I then spent the next 5 days really excited and looking forward to surfing with friends. Superbowl Sunday, I woke up at 6am, picked up my friends Nicole and Sarah in San Clemente by 8:30, and showed up at Oceanside North Jetty by 9. The waves were a solid one foot, perfect for the longboards and fishes in the Jules Collection.

I don't yet have photos from the surf session, but after ripping we cruised back to Julie's house for a carne asada bbq, acoustic jam session, a lot of laughing, and even a fire pit.
