I've been trying to figure out a way to make some money while living in Nicaragua for a while. I think i've finally figured it out. I'm going to start a women's surf retreat down there. I've taught boys and girls of all ages to surf over the years, but lately i've been staying away from that. Just been too busy.

But, with thinking about doing lessons and surf coaching full time, I've decided to start getting back into it this summer for a little more practice. My friend Doug suggested I take his two kids for a surf. Little Marielle is only 9 years old and has the best attitude ever. She was constantly wearing a smile even when the occassionally big thumpy sets came in and smashed both of us. Hopefully she had as much fun out there as I did!
