Southern France is for sure the nicest place I have been in the world. I'v been lucky enough to visit every continent (apart from Antarctica) multiple times and this place is just plain nice! Definitely pumped to see this race on the UCI SX schedule every year, its a nice change from some of the spots we end up for nationals here in the US!
Racing for me didn't go well, at all. I felt good in Chula Vista but the two crashes during motos put an end to the day fast. In France, I just couldn't get going. I felt jet lagged, couldn't sleep any of the nights, nothing felt right. I tried to get it going but it wasn't there. So not much to update from race wise. Luckily the trip wasn't completely wasted as my birthday was October 10 (race day) so it was the last World Cup of the year, last after party of the year, and my 20th B-Day all in one night, good times! haha now its just a bit of some MUCH NEEDED time off, rest up and recharge the batteries then get back on it and be ready for the SX series next year that starts in April. Looking forward to it already.
