It has been so long since I have seen Tahoe really good that I started to wonder if it was a thing of the past. Each day I would wake up half expecting gale force winds or rain to the top. After the second day of knee to waist deep perfection I had had my fix. For four days in a row Ryland and I could not stop hiking because everywhere we looked was so good. We averaged seven runs a day and never had a bad turn. Hiking out at dark as a storm was approaching I had reached a level of fatigue I have not felt in a long time.
