I grew up on the East Coast. I bough my first snowboard at a general store in Vermont while visiting my Grandfather. I would ride golf coarses and if I was lucky the jail house hill but that required someone to drive me.
My family relocated to Stowe and still live there. Stowe is were i really lerned to ride. It is a big, legit mountain and the perfect training ground to get you ready to ride anything in the world. At 2800 vertical drop accesssed by a 10 minute highspeed quad it rival the vert I get on a daily bases out west.
Here is some picks from my hometown and local shred spots. The last few are from the Cape and the Jail House Hilll. It was the biggest around. I also included the sky scraper my best freind from highschool works at.
