Its sure is great to be back at the ranch after being gone for ten days. Living in my cyurrent location is a bit different than living in the city for many reasons, but one of the hardest reasons would have to be when I have to travel for work. First it’s a five hour drive to salt lake, and then Corporate for my company is in Philly, so then you have to fly back there, and then I couldn’t adjust to the time change, and then came back at three in the morning eastern time, which is one here, and then Im just a wasteland for the entire day. I did have a great time though, we had great food, which was free, so anytime theres good food that’s free, you will find me. I did go to south philly, which makes Rose Park look like the houses up above the Capital in Salt Lake, just to get a Pats cheesesteak, and let me give you some advice, read the instructions on how to order, got me a cheese wiz wit’. And it was tasty
So I got back in to the City of Salt on Friday, one day to rest before the races, I was fortunate enough to have a great Fitness center at my hotel to keep the training somewhat going. So I woke up Saturday like a kid on Christmas, excited and ready to go, this racing is just quite fun again. Got to the track, and everytime I get there, butterflies are running wild in my belly. Track was great, you could seriously rally around the first corner, every lap I did, I think I pedaled the whole thing. Funnest race of the weekend had to be the cruiser open, thanks Mr. Ritter for settin that up. 22 riders all together, and the feel was completely positive, TP had the ponies to pull away with the win, I came in a happy second with the rest of the crew in tow. The talent here in Utah and Idaho keeps me amazed, the Pro AM on Sunday was fun to watch, couldn’t quite make that main, but I looked at Ron M. before that main and said three people are going down in this moto, as they did, he looked and me and said I called it. All in all I had a great time with my travels, check out the Brotherly Love photo album for a view from my room, and the car Im going to own next year. As always keep on keeping on, and stay tuned for some riding pics this weekend. |
