JoMo Pro is an annual contest hosted each April by Autumn Ramp Park in Joplin, MO. Autumn Ramp Park was originally designed and built by Nate Wessel and his ramp builing crew. RideBMX has called Autumn "one of the most progressive parks open today". JoMoPro 2008 will be taking place April 11-13. We will be offering Intermediate, Expert and Pro classes again this year. We will also be holding a Best Trick contest again. It will be the RideBMX Best Trick contest with prizes provided by Harley Davidson. For 2008 we have also increased the Pro Prize Money to $25,000 to be split between the top 10 Pro riders. As we plan more details for 2008 you can be sure that we will go out of our way to make JoMoPro '08 the best contest you have ever been to. As always there will be concerts to attend in The Foundry each night, The Bridge's Climbing Gym and Caged Basketball/Dodgeball Court will be open. There will also be an improved hospitality area for all riders. That's right we felt the massuse, the free food and drinks and the private park veiwing weren't enough. For 2008 we are working on a larger rider hospitality area with more benifits. Keep checking back as we begin to post details.
The first JoMoPro took place April 7-9, 2006 as part of the Grand Opening Festivities for Autumn Ramp Park, The Bridge and The Foundry. JoMoPro '06 featured both Skate and BMX classes and we offered a $20,000 prize purse to be split between Skate and BMX. We also gave away 2 motorcycles, one to the winner of Best Trick Skate and one to the winner of Best Trick BMX. For a first year contest JoMoPro '06 was a successful event with over 100 competitors.
