Kona ‘s 30th birthday bash went off !!! Not even the Florida rain could stop the action. During a 20 min down pour Kona skate park turned into Kona water park. When the rain stopped everyone pitched in to dry the course and get ready for the events. Kelly Lynn shredded the bank slolom course to win the 1,000 dollar prize. Benji galloway won the tombstone event with a frontside invert with sandals on taking the 1,000 dollar prize. After the contest the entire crowd rushed over to the vert ramp to watch Tony Hawk, Sergie Ventura and Mike Mcgill put on a killer demo. The doubles that Sergie and Tony did kept the crowd hyped ! It was a great show for the crowd. After the demo Ray Barbee and chuck treese jammed on the stage to end the night!!!
