I am back in California at last! I had a great time in Breckenridge. The jump line there is amazing! It was some of the best skiing I've done in a long time. I left Colorado Saturday and headed to Las Vegas for a Nascar race. The drive was crazy. There is a spot on I 70 where there is no gas for 110 miles! I made it to the station and filled up with 19.76 gallons of gas in a 20 gallon tank. I had to keep putting the car in neutral to make it. (Scary!) I thought I was going to be walking. Vegas was really fun, I caught up with my good friend Jamie Little and went to the Nascar race. The race was fun and I got to see my friend Carl Edwards win! Monday after the race Jamie and I played golf at her club. (I need some practice) It was great to see her and spend some time away from the snow. Tuesday morning I got up went to the driving range and hit some balls and then jumped in the car and headed for Big Bear. There is a contest here this weekend called the Opens Freeski Tour and I am going to compete. I think it will be a fun contest, it's been 50 and sunny since I arrived! The jumps are small and have really flat landings, but hopefully they will fix them before the contest. When I leave here it's time to head to Mammoth to spend some time in one place.
