Last Wednesday I flew to the OC for the Oakley Uniquely Movie Premier. I arrived at the girls house in Encinitas to a huge party! All the girls continued to trickle in until the premier Thursday night. The shuttle picked us all up at the house. We had 17 of the best female action sports athletes from around the world on the bus and in party mode!
After a few stops along the way... picking up Chanelle Sladics, a gas station stop, and a bathroom break. We arrived in style at the Oakley headquarters. After we walked the Red Carpet and did some interviews with Fuel and go211.com the party got started! 700 people free drinks all night and an incredible movie, what more could we ask for.
The movie was amazing and a true inspiration for girls in action sports. It's so diverse there is something for everyone. It is better than I ever could have imagined and I am so happy to be part of it. Not only was the movie amazing, but the party was all time, by the end of the night we were all dancing on stage.
When the party was over and everyone went home, all the girls headed back to the Uniquely house, where we kept it going all weekend. 17 of the best female athletes in the world for a weekend of surfing, and fun in the sun, the way only Oakley could do it. It was one of the best weekends of my life! I surfed for 4 days straight, made new friends and contected with old ones. It was a time I will never forget.
