This weekend I got to go to the Nascar race in Phoenix with my good friend ESPN commentator Jamie Little.  It's kind of become an annual event.  Each year I head to the track to catch a little bit of the action, eat hotdogs, talk like a red neck, and go left! Jamie always manages to get me some special Hot Passes so that I can follow her around the pits.  Nascar really is an amazing sport.  I was a skeptic for a long time.  My step dad would watch Nascar every weekend and I would beg him to change the channel, but since I went to my first race, I definitely have a ton of respect for what those guys do, the strategies, the teams, and the luck! Carl Edwards won the Nationwide race on Saturday and Jimmie Johnson won the Sprint Cup race on Sunday and perhaps sealed the championship. Now it's time for me to get packed up and head to Colorado! Their season is ending and mine is beginning! Here are a few pictures from the race.
