Espy's

I had the chance to go to the ESPN Espy awards in LA this week.  I got to share the evening with my good friends Chanelle Sladics, Claire Bevolacqua, and Torah Bright. 

I've been going to the show for a couple years now.  In my opinion it's  the best awards show on TV.  Everyone being honored is there for their accomplishments in sport.  It's so pure,  there are no politics involved, no favorites being played, no casting calls, sports are about who crosses the line first, who wins the game, and in action sports who did it with the most style.  This event is so special to me, because we get the chance to walk among all the other athletes.  I got to measure myself up against Lebron James, Serena Williams, and Ben Rothlisberger.  We get the chance to meet our heros from other sports.  Athletes from all sports come together and pay tribute to each other.  All the athletes have so much respect for each other, and this is the opportunity to show it.  As an action sports athlete I'm thrilled to walk the red carpet with all my sports heros.  This year was a great year in sports if your from Pittsburgh, The Steelers won the Super Bowl and the Penguins won the Stanley Cup.  It was fun to see some of those guys out for the event.  The show was great, but i have to give the hosting award to Justin Timberlake. Samuel L. Jackson had nothing on JT's performance last year.  The Steelers and Michael Phelps were the big winners on the night.   I would have given the best record breaking performance to Usain Bolt!  Is that controversial?   Anyway we had a great night, and  I had a ton of fun getting all dressed up!  What will the best moments in sports be next year?
