This weekend I was lucky enough to be invited to join four magazine editors to the beautiful Channel Islands. Sunset, Sky West, Viv, and Arroyo Seco Journal Magazine were all invited to Ventura County to not only check our great town out but to experience a day kayaking at the local islands.
We left Ventura Harbor at 8am for a our day adventure. Now I have only been to the islands to surf, never to kayak, especially for four long hours. It was a blast! The sun came out, it was hot, water crystal clear and the caves were anything but boring to enter in. Check out these pics:
