So this may sound funny but i love the fair. Ever since I was a little girl the fair is my ultimate favorite thing to do in the summertime. The only bummer is that the fair would always arrive in mid August, which meant I had to go back to school and summer is over.
The fair not only brings yummy greasy fried food, scary roller coaster rides, expensive toys, it also brings amazing fire work shows. The first and last night of the fair is always the best fire work shows to watch. It starts at 10pm everynight the fair is in town. On the first night I decided to paddle out into the ocean with photographer David Pu'u, his fiance Donna and my boyfriend Doug. It was a full moon and gorgeous outside. The funny part about this was that it was completely packed in the lineup. Surfers everywhere doing the same thing. The firework show was killer. The sounds of each explosion where incredibly loud, the bright colors direcly above us were gorgeous and it was definitly the best way to watch a firework show. It's funny that I have scene a million fireworks shows in my lifetime and I still love every new show more!
