First 10 days on the island. (Wed, 19 Nov 2008 Posted at 09:30:00 PM)

My first 10 days in hawaii were spent at the amazing home of the jones family at rocky point. Getting to stay in a beach house in hawaii is epic. You always have these windows to go surf when the crowds thin or the wind changes.  Plus you just surf all day. For me it's hard to sit in the yard and watch fun looking waves. I just have to get out there. Some of the fun activities while not surfing have been snorkeling turtle bay, pies from Ted's bakery, Shaping a 5.7 bonzer in Mikala's shaping room, painting on surfboards and hawaiian BBQ. The First event of the triple crown the Reef Haleiwa Pro started and I'm still going into the fourth round now and we are waiting for some more swell to get the event underway again. Another update coming soon,

Mike
