We decided to have a camping bachelor party for me so we couldnt possibly get into to much trouble. Me and 7 friends got on the Catalina Express boat in Dana Point and headed towards Avalon on Catalina island. Once we got there we had organized an old shuttle bus to drive us an hour over to the backside of the island to a camp ground called Little Harbor. At one time we thought we could trek this hour drive by foot with all our gear, you know add to the fun with a little hike. So stoked we didnt do that. it would have taken the whole weekend just to get there. The campsite was sick! on the beach with no one around. We are the only stupid ones who would think about camping in the middle of winter out there. So we had the place to ourselves. It wasnt that bad with the cold weather. We just came prepared for it. Saturday we did a long hike to ben weston to try and surf but the wind was howling and the waves were crappy. Didnt stop me and my buddy Justin from paddling out. It was fun to get wet but nothing to write home about. All in all the place was sick I had the best bachelor party ever and would definantly recommend and rank the Little Harbor campground on catalina to be one of the best places ever.
