HUGE CONTEST THIS LAST WEEKEND IN SIMI VALLEY
King of the Groms Simi Valley Skate Lab -it was the first of the 3 contests that's going on -
I think there were 80 - 12 and under kids there !
The bowl skating ripped the mini ramp was brand new and so smooth and then the street course killed, great layout it was so cool to see my friends all in one place for the whole weekend. I can't be at the one in Florida in Jan I'm bummed, I'm planning a trip to Cali again to go skate the VERT at the Block and hangout with Trent B. and some other friends. I will be at the finals in Mn in Feb 22-24, yeah it's cold!!! really cold!!! BUT SO FUN http://www.kingofthegroms.net/ to see how to enter that one is huge, I think last year there was 175 kids !!! We all stay at the Holiday Inn a couple blocks away. Bring boots and snow jackets oh yeah and you SKATEBOARD see you there
side note: bring a extra big bag last year I went home with 6 skateboard decks, shirts, wheels you won't believe it !
