I just got back from my first QS (qualifying series) event in portugal. it was called the billabong girls cascais festival. we ended up having some pretty good waves and great weather. I only made it through one heat in the contest but I learned that there is a lot i need to get used to doing this series like the format and just the whole feeling is totally different. now that im home im going to focus on surfing as much as i can but also enjoying my last couple of weeks with my friends before they go off to college! my next stop will be in brazil in september. wish me luck!!
