THe WCT lowers contest is coming up in september. Its one of the only WCT contest there isnt a local wildcard/trails for. We have been trying to get this going and havent had much success. San Clemente is a hot bed of up and coming talent that should have a chance to surf against the worlds best. We have been competiting on the WQS full time and are in a good position to qualify this year. The guys that are in a great position are PAt, Tanner, and Dane gudauskas, Myself(Nate Yeomans) and Mike Losness. Along with the groms lke Kalohe Andino, Luke Davis, and Ian Crian. Then there are guy like Austin Ware and Brett Simpson who are going full bore on the WQS and are local souther California's. With that being said we should be able to practice and get experience at our home spot. The boys took down a bunch of the WCT surfers at the Lowers 6.0 WQS which is another reason we should have at least a spot in the contest.
