Nine Days To No One formed in 2001, and has been obliterating stages since 2002 starting with their homeland of Southeast England. They are a very conceptual band with lines of sight always in mind. Goals and agendas always in place, for with this focus, ND2NO have accomplished a great deal. Released in 2003, their debut ‘Disrecordings’ on Engineer, garnered them much critical praise. Both big and small mags were gushing (Terrorizer, Big Cheese, Metal Hammer). Now with ‘ARK,’ their sophomore release, the expectations are even higher. Make sure you do not miss out on the bastard experience of “Ark.â€Â
Early on, playing with the likes of Cubic Space Division, The Guillueame Seam, Gutworm, The Inbreds, Jairus, Truama Unit and many more, they began to attract attention to themselves in a very positive way. In Jan 2004, Engineer Records added them to the roster, amongst many other great UK and International bands, and have since notched up a wealth of magazine and e-zine reviews world wide, not to mention various magazine covermount CDs.
Nine Days sound was probably best described by Rocksound Magazine as "If Will Haven played Quicksand they would probably sound like Nine Days To No One, this sound is so dense it needs to be broken down and digested. 8/10".
With new material in the pipeline this year, Nine Days continue to break down barriers, and refuse to conform to current musiacal trends and make the country pay attention to their intense but eclectic wall of sound that seperates them from the rest of the bands over here.
