My name is Ronnie Chippy Hitchcock and I do the sport of BMX.I like the sport because i get to go to different places like Reno,Arizona,Oklahoma,Florida,etc.I was introduced to the sport by my uncle the 2006 ABA cruiser champion Chris Verhagen when I was just five years old.He asked my dad if I could go to my home track Sycamore BMX in Simi Valley,CA.My dad said I looked good on the track so about four months later i got my first bike,it was a Redline mini.The color was red and black. My first National was the Black Jack Nationals in Reno,Nevada.I got third both days.Then my dad said that I looked so good on the track that he was going to take me to Pheonix,Arizona for the Winter Nationals.I got second on Friday fourth on Saturday,sadly on Sunday after being in a battle for the lead I took a hard elbow in the fifth straight going into the last turn and went down and got Main Event Qualifier. Till this day I still race at all the Nationals I can go to.I am currently 10 and I am doing very well in my district and in state championship my current home track is Sycamore BMX in Simi Valley,CA and I'm still doing the sport I love BMX | |||||||||||
