So since this last Detroit blog a lot has gone down in the life of Steve. And when I say a lot.... I mean not that much. But a lot, seriously. The Breckenridge, CHEVY US Snowboard Grand Prix is one thing that has happened in my life since the last entry. And that was pretty cool, I ended up 2nd to make a long story short.

Next topic. After the contest I went with my girlfriend to her home in Ohio for the holiday...... Kwanza of course. We got a totally awesome knife set for our house! Not that rad you say? Well then you wait until you have a house with NO knife set and try to make some dinner, then you can tell me how cool a knife set for the holidays are! ha. Anyway that's not all i got either. Tricia (my girlfriend) got me the BEST gift EVER! She hooked up the HDDVD player for me! So now i only watch HD shit, so booya. Really enough of my bragging, sorry.
New Years was a blast! I again was with my girlfriend, along with several of our other friends and had a great night out on the town in Breckenridge. And amazingly, there weren't any hostile punk tourists out on town trying to pick fights with anyone, which was very cool to have a great time and not deal with any crap at the bar. Oh yeah, and being a super-pro snowboarder people may think I'm a very athletic / agile person.... Well, i have some bad news, I fell down some stairs on the 1st and totally hurt my back. Not doing anything active for the last week has been pretty painful, and boring because there has been a bit of new snow in CO and really wanted to get out on the sled and shred some POW. Since I am an athlete of some sort I decided to push though the pain and get out to get some work done and shot some photos with Dave Lehl, whom is a good friend of mine, and a great photographer in the shred industry. Check it out, pretty fun jump here.

Two days after the snow fell, and i spent some quality time snowboarding, I headed off to Utah. Which is where I am at the moment with the US Team, riding at Park City. Just a mere 7 hour drive from Breck, I've been here for one day and we're already talking about heading back to BRECK in just a couple of days to ride their superior pipe. And whilst I'm here the wonderful Tricia Byrnes, who just happens to be a treat of a friend decided to ask me why i haven't been blogging for GO211.com. To which i reply I have....... For wcsn, which is who i USED to blog for before joining the GO211.com team. HA! So sorry ms. Byrnes, won't happen again. Good times. Okay then, bye.
