Well, I guess it's been long enough since my last entry. So since my surgery and very uneventful first part of summer, I got to hang at Mt. Hood Oregon for a week of some mellow shredding! This was great because as I said before, the first part of the summer since the surgery I really haven't done much so it was great to get out of the house, town and hang with my friends and slide around on the snowboard for a few days. The weather out there was AMAZING! Everyday was sunny, hot, and great to ride, jump in the river and just spend time outdoors. Though some days it was way TOO HOT to do anything at all. Snowboarding till noon, then straight to the house in Hood River, and would spend the day in the shade... Not moving at all. Great times, I felt like the lions at the zoo, just chilling not moving because it was so damn hot out there.
The shredding was great, and lots of fun. Which is what Hood is all about. Unfortunately I wasn't able to ride super hard and learn new stuff, on account of the wrist still being all pinned and in a cast. Though I did end up riding switch for like 4 days straight. So i really worked hard on trying to go bigger on full switch straight air runs. Which is very hard, for those of you who haven't tried it. But by the second day it was so fun. I got used to just going backwards all the time, and ended up being surprisingly productive.
Now i'm back home in Breck and am going to head to Denver tonight to check out The Dark Knight in the IMAX! So should be super good..... Heard it's amazing! Oh and sorry for the no photos this time, but i forgot my camera in my car.... at the denver airport. SWEET! I know. k bye
