So, I'm not quite cool enough to be a "Delegate" per say... But I was able to hang around Denver for an afternoon during the DNC on Wednesday! I went with my girlfriend Tricia and we had a blast checking out everything. We started at Invesco field where they had a huge tent set up with replicas of Air Force One, and the Oval Office which you could walk through and learn about what all was in them. Not only that, but there were all sorts of cool facts, videos, books, etc... about all the history of the American government! It felt like we were in elementary school again! So cool checking out all the fun facts about all of the past American presidents and much more! Then after an hour and a half there, we decided it was time to go through downtown to check out all the police, people, vendors, hoopla! This was the craziest i've ever seen the city of Denver! So many people, cars, everything! Then it was time for some dinner. We went to this place south of Denver on Pearl st. near Denver U. The place is called The BLACK PEARL. And it was AMAZING FOOD! I highly recommend checking it out if you are ever in the Denver area. The food was superb! Ambiance was great! And best of all, it was pretty quiet considering the crazyness of the downtown area. Then, after dinner we went back to downtown to walk around and people watch and just hang out during the end of the speech. Here are some photos to check out! Good times!
