Obviously the greatest most admired American holiday has just happened. THANKSGIVING! And this one i really enjoy big time! Easily the best meal of the entire year! I ended up going to my mom's friends house for the awesome event! We enjoyed all different types of the best and worst (for you) holiday eats! I had my first deep fried turkey, and it was F-ing amazing! So tender and juicy. We also had regular old lame turkey as well, but now I don't think i could ever go back to plain roasted turkey.... And i encourage everyone to do the same! I believe the saying is "once you go deep fried, you never go back" or something along those lines. So dinner was amazing, and i think i earned all 6000 calories i ate that night!
Also for this past week, was a time i got to spend with all my oldest friends from back home in Minnesota! This was awesome seeing everyone, since I don't get to make it back there too often anymore. Pretty much went out every night and had blast! AND three of my good friends all got engaged to their ladies just before i made it back, so that was crazy, interesting, awesome all at once.... And to top it off, they all picked the SAME WEEKEND to have the weddings! HA, talk about a weird coincidence! But it makes it nice, since i only have to book ONE flight back now instead of three! So, other than that, nothing absolutely crazy happened. At least worth mentioning.
Now, I'm back to Breck, and the season started full swing! Funny how that works since when i left for MN, there wasn't any jumps, pipe, or even much snow anywhere at all. But we got dumped on big time, during the turkey day weekend! So now Copper has their pipe up and I've been shredding it in a major way the past couple days. I actually haven't ridden a halfpipe since i was in Hood in July. So as you can imagine I was very pumped to get back at it! The pipe is pretty good, though a bit narrow and verty, but at least there's something up before the contests get going next week. So, I guess I'll have plenty more to write about next week after the first Grand Prix, then following that is the new Winter Dew Tour! So i'll be pretty busy these next two weeks, but then i'll let ya know how it all goes. Later
