Hey, so.... WOW. Winter X was unreal this year! How did everyone feel about the TEXT judging for the big air comps? That was just sooooooo MTV of them to do that! I really wasn't impressed with the outcome of the snowboard big air at all. I think Mikkel and Torstein both rode AMAZINGLY WELL! But most importantly the ESPN X Games are a (drum roll) TV SHOW! Enough with the negative though, Frank Wells is THE MAN! That pipe was the best damn pipe i've ever been in! I'm so pumped on how that thing turned out! It was so fun just riding every day!
After that whirlwind week at Aspen, I flew out to Vegas for the last SIA trade show, before it moves to Denver next year. I was there for 2 nights, with my lady. We had a BLAST! Got to eat out with some of my favorite sponsors, GIRO, SIMS, and Rip Curl! First night we hung with the Giro people and somehow made it up to the Foundation Room at the top of Mandalay Bay. This was an AMAZING TIME! I had so much fun partying up with the whole posse! Really good people! So, I was supposed to be there only for one night, but had so much fun Tricia and I ended up staying another night! Which was such a good call. The second night we went out with Rip Curl to KOI Sushi.... Hands down the best part of even going to vegas for all of us! It was the best sushi dinner I've ever had... And I don't throw that around loosely! I thoroughly enjoy sushi and eat it frequently, so I know it was the best so far! I encourage anyone in Vegas to check it out! It's in the Planet Hollywood hotel, formerly the Aladdin. AWESOME. So here's some photos of the past two trips. Not much, but something to look at!
