Well since my amazing last couple weeks in Mexico and week in southern CO with Sims, I was fortunate enough to have my dad come and visit me in Breck. He was here for just a long weekend which was very nice because I rarely get to see my parents these days. Since they live in Minnesota still, and I'm always traveling & shredding all over the world. Anyway we had a great time and i won't bore you with any details of chilling with my pops.
After my dad left I headed out to a little place called Aspen! I'm told it's where the women instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano. But since all the mountains were closed, there really weren't a whole lot of people there at all. However some of the ladies on the US Team did get to see the elusive LANCE ARMSTRONG with his baby's mama eating lunch or something. I wasn't so fortunate to have seen such a site, but I'm sure it was life altering! The US Team arranged for us to ride the X Games pipe privately after Buttermilk mountain closed for the season. We were the only ones there and it was an amazing halfpipe to ride and get used to since all the major contests these days are 22ft pipes. Unfortunately I was not able to ride as much or as hard as I would have liked. My heel is still bruised from the damn photo shoot last week, so I wasn't able to really get after it. Which was really too bad, because I saw numerous new tricks being thrown. I was just bummed I couldn't keep up just yet. But not to worry, I'll be heading to Hood later this summer to get some new shizz dialed for next season.
