nothing can describe how freaking amazing the us open is every year.....its my favorite competition to watch (partially because its one of the few i get to actually go to), and its literally right down the ski trail from my house, so even in the morning when youre getting ready to ski down you can hear the announcers and find out whos currently competing in what. seeing the legends like ross powers, and the new kids in the junior jam who you'll definately see competing pro in a few years is just so amazing...me and other peeps always make bets on who of the new kids will be the next shaun white pretty soon. and i must say, he's gunna have some stiff competition....wells, easter sunday my family and ross had this event thing where a bunch of riders like andy, luke, hannah, tricia, lindsey, and some other peeps all come for a breakfast thing, then the kids get to go riding with them...it was just simply amazing (and definately better than last year for me, because that morning i had woken up on pneumonia and had to miss most of it). im really bummed tho, because i just had my last weekend of the season cus of soccerr season starting, and im suffering skiing withdrawl. but i had the best last day ever, spending most of it in the park with some friends that i may not see again :( ...well it was definately worth it. im gunna work on my skateboarding while painstakingly waiting for next season!! cya |
