Okay the weekend did not go well for me, no mains this weekend. It seemed like it was one of those weekends where I was always in the wrong place at the wrong time. The track was okay, the only thing I don't understand is the ABA building super short first straights where it is impossible to win to the first corner from 7 or 8. There was plenty of room in the building for a longer first straight. When a guy beats everyone out by a wheel to the first jump and doesn't come out top three out of the first corner(which I saw happen numerous times) there is something wrong. Enough about that.
Mikey Day won the UCI race on Saturday and probably should have won Sunday but got 8th in the second main, so KB took the overall. Congrats to my team mate the Jackal for winning vet pro both days with some awesome moves. The ABA did make a decent pro section that was faster than the other side which made for some good racing.
Joey Bradford won the contest for heaviest bag at the airport, I think he was confused and wasn't sure if he was going to a BMX race or the tour de France so he brought his bmx bike and road bike. After checking in on the way home we were hanging out by the gate when he got called back to the counter because his bag weighed a whopping 104 pounds.
Looks like we got quite a bit of rain, the trails out front are very flooded and don't look like they will be rideable for a while. My dog Toby will enjoy it, he loves to go swimming.
