I love springtime, it is one of my favorite times of year as the days get warmer and I get to be outside more working in the yard. One of my favorite things is a freshly cut lawn that is perfectly green....so every spring after plenty of rain and the sun is out a bit, my field is ready to be cut. I went out a few weeks ago looking for new blades for my riding mower as the blades were worn too much to get a good cut. I went to Jensen and Watts, they were out, I went to Lowe's in Fresno, they were out. I went to Lowe's in Clovis, they were out. I went back to Jensen and Watts a week later, they had sold out again after reordering. I looked online and found what I needed but wanted 10 bucks to ship a 16 dollar blade. I said forget that. I went back to Jensen and Watts for the third time and walked in, and before I got the words out of my mouth to tell the man what I needed, he said, "just sold the last two 20 minutes ago." WOW! Took another shot at Lowe's in Fresno and they had them. I felt like I found gold.
Anyway...worked on the Reedley track last night as it was very beat from the winter rains. It is now in nice shape. The Fresno track is looking to pave their corners next week which will make the track waaaaaaaaay faster and more fun to ride.
Below is a pic of my three kids.....they look kind of guilty like they are planning something they shouldn't be. William and Julia are pretty good at that already, the other week I heard this giggling in the front living room, they decided to hang on the curtains and pull them out of the wall.
